shanghai surprise

Testing. . .one. . .two. . .testing. . . I'm working on getting my China blog up and running.  Picking fonts and colors.  What better way to start things off than to give a tip of the hat to Madonna and her first ex-hubby Sean Penn, who starred in the 80's flop Shanghai Surprise.  I vaguely remember watching this film on TV with my Mom when I was a kid, and my Mom and I laughing about how bad the acting came off.  It was probably the first time I'd ever heard of Shanghai.  Wow Madonna, look how far we've come.  And you haven't done too bad yourself, Mr. Penn.
